INDUSTRIAL & LABOUR RELATIONS AT MCGILL

Industrial and Labour Relations has been discontinued/retired as of September 2023 and is no longer accepting new students.

The Faculty Program in Industrial and Labour Relations provides students with a basic knowledge of the institutions and practices as well as the principal social and economic forces that underlie employment relationships. The program is composed of 54 credits of courses drawn from the Departments of Economics and Sociology within the Faculty of Arts and from Labour-Management Relations within the Desautels Faculty of Management.

MCGILL INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS ASSOCIATION

MIRA is an organization that was founded in order to promote the Industrial and Labour Relations program at McGill University in a manner that facilitates the making of every student’s voice in that program heard. The organization focuses on educating our students on the importance of bringing peace, positive growth, and social harmony to the workplace. We aim to achieve this goal by organizing various events and providing a platform by which students can find out and share information as well as express their ideas.
